Monks and learning

(sourpuss summary at end)

As we all know, many monks are wasteful sorts, wildly willing
to throw their lovely lessons away.

What not all know is that a few fine followers of monkishness
wish to be careful and controlled, frugal, not fickle. It is
to those that I address the following.

I have instructed all denizens that might permit you to learn
tekura from them, that they are no longer to allow lesson
wastage. That's right! Try as you might, you should no longer be
able to waste lessons in Tekura.

Knowing the deep division between denizens and adventurers, I
despaired of instructing them to do anything. And so I have
simply Woven reality itself so that adventurers cannot teach
you more lessons than you need for your next belt.

Sourpuss summary
It should now be impossible to waste lessons in Tekura.
Try to learn as many as you will. If it's too many, you will
not only be told it's too many, but you'll be informed as to
how many are proper at this time to precisely reach the next
belt.

Penned by my hand on the 17th of Aeguary, in the year 430 AF.
