XP Event and Quiz this weekend

Year 400 is still going strong! There are still 2 Championship Games to
be held this weekend: the 24-hour XP event and the Quiz of Achaean
knowledge.

The 24-hour XP event begins around 19 hours from now at 7PM GMT on
Saturday, ending at 7PM GMT on Sunday. That's noon PST Saturday - noon
PST Sunday. The Quiz will begin 3 hours after, at 10PM GMT Sunday.

Some rules and points about the XP event:
- Once the XP event begins, you will be able to XPEVENT JOIN. Once
joined, you are free PK to anyone else in the event, and anyone else in
the event is free PK to you.
- Those in the event will show up with their names in bold cyan -- if you
look at CONFIG COLOUR, that's # 14.
- You can XPEVENT JOIN once at any time during the event. If you quit the
event via XPEVENT QUIT, you will not be able to rejoin. QQing from Achaea
itself will not quit you from the xpevent.
- You will neither lose nor gain xp from PKing or being PKd by other
players. You will lose xp from dying to denizens and creatures as normal
(though not to loyal entities). If you deliberately try to make people
lose xp by, for example, dropping them in the Pit or purposefully
leading aggressive denizens to them, you will be heavily punished.
- The event is entirely FREE PK. That means PK cause is neither lost nor
gained for any PK occurring between event participants.
- No thieving of those in the event.
- You win by gaining the most XP in those 24 hours, whether through
questing or bashing or a combination of both. XPEVENT RANKINGS will show
you the winners during the event.
- Bonuses to xp, such as the Effigy of Victory and the Mark bonuses,
will not count for the scoring in this event, although you will
personally still gain xp as normal, i.e. with the bonuses.
- Dragons will still gain less xp while in dragonform, both for personal
xp gain and for scoring.

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Chronos, in the year 400 AF.
