Mnemosyne Updates: September 2026

As of this post, we have reset the RANKINGS MNEMOSYNE board. Those who achieved a Top 50 run can now view their results in RANKINGS MNEMOSYNE ALLTIME. Congratulations to Aroan for taking first place, Cooper for second, and Thiev for third! Well done, everyone!

Before I go into the new changes, I want to announce the winners of our Discord Boon/Affix contest!

For the boons:

In 1st place is Lasyll who wins 500 credits for the boon ‘Obligate Carnivore’.
In 2nd place is Sohl who wins 350 credits for the boon ‘Berserker’s Edge’.
In 3rd place is Laorir who wins 150 credits for the boon ‘Momentum’.

For the affixes:

Boon Tailoring

Wade stones are tokens attuned to a particular flavour of boon: Offence, Defence, Utility, Classes, Legendary, or Starter Boons. Skipping one across the river Mnemosyne will shape the very next set of boons you are offered, letting you steer your build with more purpose than chance alone allows.

There are several categories of stones:

Offence – Boons that sharpen your ability to hurt your foes or buff your offensive stats.
Defence – Boons that improve your survivability.
Utility – Boons that enhance your resource management, mobility, and other conveniences. Also includes affliction immunities and general battlerage afflictions.
Classes – Boons tied to your class, race, or a specific skill you possess.
Legend – Legendary boons only.
Lessers – Starter boons that empower you in significant ways. Includes: Strength of Lessers, Resilience of Lessers, and Death’s Demise.

WADE SKIP
– Skip a wade stone across the river Mnemosyne, tailoring your next non-boss boon offering towards the category inscribed upon it.
– You may only have one tailoring pending at a time, and it is consumed the moment your next set of boon options is generated. Any active tailoring will show on WADE STATUS.
– Tailoring limits per run:
Classes – up to three times
Legend – once, only in ripples 10+
Lessers – once
Offence, Defence, Utility – no limit
– This cannot be done while you are already in the midst of choosing boons.
– This has no effect on the boon offerings that follow the completion of a boss floor. A pending tailoring simply carries over to the offering after that.

NOTE: In some instances, it is possible to roll less than 3 options in a specific tailored pool. However, if a boon tailoring would generate no options at all, your boons will instead be drawn from the typical pool.

Boon Rerolling

Have you ever been offered a selection of boons and thought, “I wish I could change these.”. Well now you can, via the BOON REROLL command.

BOON REROLL
– During boon selection, discard your current set of options and reveal a new set in their place.
– You are granted a reroll for every five ripples you complete, up to a maximum of three banked at once.
– You can view how many rerolls you have on WADE STATUS.

NOTE: Boon tailoring does not carry through rerolls. If you tailor your boon selection and decide to reroll the options, you will get new options drawn from the typical pool.

Some boons are not drawn from the usual pools at all – they are [REDACTED], granted automatically the moment you’ve [REDACTED].

– [REDACTED] never appear as a choice during boon selection. You cannot roll or pick them directly.
– The moment you claim [REDACTED], the [REDACTED] is [REDACTED], with no further action needed.
– It doesn’t matter what order you [REDACTED], only that [REDACTED].
– BOON CONTEMPLATE will show you [REDACTED], but not what [REDACTED]. You’ll need to find these out on your own!

Ah, it looks like that last section is not quite done cooking yet. We need a bit more time to put polish on these [REDACTED] boons, but expect them to come within the next few days!
