PSA: Language Rules & Harassment
Hi folks,
I’m writing to remind everyone about the existence of HELP LANGUAGE RULES, and HELP HARASSMENT, and to reiterate that Achaea and Iron Realms as a whole has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech or harassment.
We take all reports of harassment seriously and as such there is only one venue for making these reports. That method is directly to me, either via an ISSUE, email, or message.
Whilst I understand that making an “official” report can be a difficult step, it is an essential part of the process in ensuring a safe environment for everyone involved.
If you believe a situation is serious enough to merit IC handling via your leaders or other means of redress, then it is serious enough to report to me. This is already the official policy made visible to leaders (post #240 for those with access), and will remain in place going forward.
If for any reason you, or someone you know, is unwilling to report it, please do not file issues on their behalf, and please do not continue to “handle” the scenario in character. Make liberal use of ignore and cut yourself off from the situation as best you can. This is for your own safety and for the safety of everyone who might be involved.
