April in Achaea!
Hi folks!
April has arrived and the Year 1000 celebrations are continuing on with plenty of events still to come! The shop lottery is also still open, as are the contests – check my previous posts for details and see UPCOMING for all relevant dates!
I’d also like to express my thanks on behalf of the team for the overwhelming positive feedback we’ve had since kicking off the Year 1000 events. I’m delighted with how well they’ve been received and excited with everything that’s to come!
For April we are bringing back the Iron Bank promotion with some changes! Most notably, we have significantly reduced the price of vault keys, and also added bulk options to the website for them.
Keys to the vault can be obtained via the Achaea website and visiting the bank in Delos (v38931) will allow you to open one of the vaults!
The prize list that is hidden behind the locked doors is unchanging and listed below, but which door they are behind will be subject to change. Before you choose which door to open you can even see what has been won from already opened doors. When there are no prizes left on the board the bank will reset the contents to full once more. The board will also reset when the special prize is claimed, as well as every in game month on the 1st.
In addition to the price change, we have also made an update to the prizes available, and there is also a 500 credit global prize for every 500 vaults opened. The full list of prizes is as follows:
5 doors will each conceal 25 scintillating gems,
3 doors will each conceal a silver giftbox,
10 doors will each conceal 40 credits (unbound),
5 doors will each conceal 3 artefact discount vouchers,
10 doors will each conceal a decorated sleeve, including cards from the new Modernstaff* suit!
3 doors will each conceal a Mayan crown,
2 doors will each conceal two Mayan crowns,
1 door will conceal 100 credits (unbound),
1 doors will conceal 3 Mayan crowns,
10 doors will each conceal a talisman cache (Scholars, Eldergods, Yggdrasil)
2 doors will conceal 2 decorated sleeves,
5 doors will each conceal a bronze giftbox,
5 doors will each conceal a pair of artefact vials,
1 door will conceal a phial of shimmering ink,
and,
1 door will conceal the special prize*
The special prize varies and changes when the board resets, it will always be one of the following:
800 credits
A golden giftbox
A platinum giftbox
A token that can be redeemed for any talisman piece other than those in the miscellaneous set (PROMO REDEEM for syntax!)
The Modernstaff suit is the second of our three suits planned to commemorate the first fifteen Staff of Nicator holders. This suit is part of the Champions collection and includes the following cards:
Rangor Corten
– Draw this card against a target and be apprised of any fulcrums, pathfinders, raidos, or psionic projections they may hold.
Penwize Baker
– Draw this card against a target while you are in the sky, and an eagle will allow you to traverse to them.
– Identical to metamorphosis traverse with the same restrictions.
Sothantos de L’Evanoir
– Draw this card and carry out a nerveslash against all denizens present, afflicting them with weakness.
Jhui Ta’sa
– Draw this card against a friendly target and break any mind locks they may currently be suffering.
Jarrod Dracrotalus
– Draw this card and gain the chargeshield defence for 5 minutes.
All cards in this suit have 1 charge and generate a new charge every 1 hour.
