Sent on an urgent mission to report a dangerous uprising in Harae, Paehe's chest swelled with pride at finally getting a task to prove he could do things like the older boys. As the towering gates of Mhaldor loomed before him, however, his throat closed with fear.

Lucky for him, the House Insidium took an interest in the trouble reported in Harae. Gathering their numbers, they arrived to find a dissident Paole spewing dangerous threats to the sovereign city of Evil, attempting to subvert the tributary relationship the small village pays.

His behavior seemed to point to an outside influence: a disastrous ritual. Learning that the ritualist was no where to be found, the advance party from Mhaldor scattered in search of answers. Again and again, all attempts to cure the man yielded no results. As the months stretched on, they knew their missing ritualist was the only chance.

The aged Skaadi finally located, she directed all her efforts at the dissident. Thinking quickly, Paole took advantage of the perceived treachery and attempted to rally the village to his cause. With insurrection looming, the Mhaldorians invoked their Truths, teaching Paole a swift final lesson in Oppression.

As the village of Harae settled anew, Insidium conscripted the old woman among them, pressing her resources into their service.

------

Summary: With alacrity and purpose, the Insidium House squashed a nascent revolt in their tributary village of Harae and conscripted their ritualist, Skaadi, into service.

Penned by My hand on the 13th of Glacian, in the year 675 AF.
