Declarations

Greetings Sapience,

As the first month passes during this period of Reckoning, we are all moved forward into the time of Declaration.

Leaders of the City states of Sapience, I urge you to visit with me to declare your home's allegiance to either the Red Dragon Yudhishthira or the Ice Wizard Maklak. There will be much to do and the sooner the sides are drawn up, the better.

Whilst the challenge is a personal one between these brothers of the Conclave, grudges will not be extended beyond the trial itself. Yudhishthira will not seek to carry off the sheep of your generations should you choose to support Maklak during this, and nor will the Ice Wizard visit late frosts upon your crops as the decades go by if you side with the dragon.

Both Fire and Ice have mustered their defences within their territories, many of you have felt the bite of such, but you have yet to meet their guardians, two creatures who take their roles most seriously.

Before you are afforded that opportunity, Declarations!

For those of you without a city to call home, you may visit with myself to declare your personal allegiance.

I shall close this missive with a warning, woe shall fall upon those who think to simply sit out the Reckoning. To choose a side may earn the ire of the other, to disdain the traditions of this trial will draw the ill attention of both. Most will recall the damage dealt by an undead dragon, who knows what a live one might bring.

- the wizard, Hycanthus

Penned by My hand on the 2nd of Miraman, in the year 656 AF.
