Remembrance

Written by: Ray of Hope, Lynn Artan
Date: Thursday, May 11th, 2017
Addressed to: Everyone

A ray of light
bathes a single lily
floating o'er a pond
in that faraway mem'ry.
One light, one dark,
Our faces reflected
Two times I've loved
And once rejected.
Nine is the magick number
And three times the charm
My life laid bare
Somehow safe from harm.
Ne'er went that far
Always safe in play
A forsightful fool
Careful not to say
Things held close inside
E'er ardent, yet ne'er charred
A ray of hope--
A fallen star.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Solis, in the year 134 AM.
