Missing You

Dearest Galt,

It's been twenty years since you struck out on your new adventure. It feels like it's been a century, if not longer. I miss you more than words can express. You have left a deep wound I am not sure I can ever fully recover from.

You had been my rock. My fire. My beautifully chaotic mischief maker. Without you my world feels dull and lifeless. My music has left me, and I do not know how to get it back. I shut away my emotions when you told me you wanted a new adventure elsewhere. You needed me to support you, and so I did. But every moment since has been nothing but heartache, and I wish I had begged you to stay so I could selfishly not be alone.

I hate that you felt the need to leave, even if I understand it.

I love you, my Galt. I pray that you are having the time of your life in your new adventures. You deserve that joy.

Always Yours,
Jannette, Your Goddess of Tints and Wine
