Your Request and Response

Galadriel,

Last week, the Speakers of the Heartwood convened to discuss your status as an enemy to our council. Herein, I speak for the three of us in an official response from Duiran to you.

The above mentioned topic was brought on by your own request to be unenemied from Duiran. While you and I have our personal differences, I saw no reason not to give you a chance. You have, after all, ceased your aggression and trespassing. You proved capable of understanding the gravity of your situation and the tensions surrounding it.

I cast my vote as a 'yes' to ask for:

o A fine of 50,000gp.
o A sincere public apology to three parties: Abbess Aloli, Brother Kalinaar, and Speaker Iesid.

The other two Speakers raised no objection to giving you a chance under similar terms. Upon conclusion of our discussion, we issued you the conditions necessary to lift your status.

This week, I write to tell the world at large of your response so that there is no confusion as to the truth of this matter. I write to tell the world that, instead of compliance, you asked us why an apology was necessary to our now absent compatriot.

Let it be known, Sapience, that the Heartwood sought BALANCE in our sentencing!
We sought FAIRNESS in our conditions and judgment!
We sought to be just and provide Galadriel the opportunity for the redemption that he wishes for!

The choice is still in your own hands, Galadriel. Our conversation in the last few weeks has led me to believe that you know how to do the right thing, and that is all we ask of you.

Wilds protect,
Iesid M.
