War

Written by: Pandora, the Wayward Heir
Date: Monday, June 8th, 2020
Addressed to: Everyone

What would Sapience be without pointless wars mired in hubris, aiming for absurd goals? An enlightened utopia, perhaps, but certainly less entertaining.

Nevertheless, I remain unsatisfied with the demands of each belligerent. One acts the fool and believes that murdering mortals will move a God to act; the other, brutish, is pleased just to slaughter. Certainly, some coin will be exchanged, but even the most incompetent merchant could afford such pitiful concessions with enough time.

I will offer, instead, something truly invaluable to the winner: a secret most discreet, revealed and let loose upon its citizens to do with as they wish.

Penned by My hand on the 16th of Lupar, in the year 831 AF.
