Cruelty is unnecessary,
A Sadist perversion
Given legitimacy.
A flawed conversion of conviction.

Why does the hunter kill quickly?
To honour their Faction?
A bout of compassion?
No.

The meat taints from fear.
A taste one cannot sear,
Away.
To be Cruel is to be inefficient.

Does Cruelty not steel the mind
Against the allure of sympathy?
Yes, though I ask in kind,
In preventing desertion, do the Cruel have a monopoly?

No, sympathy is a feeling.
One can cast it aside as needed,
Should one be adequately seeded,
With the knowledge of why they are fighting.

Am I claiming false, the Seven Truths?
No, I claim them to be the Illogical Soothes.
Am I undermining the Seven Truths?
