Esoterica II

Oh the time we've lost in wooing,
Looking for love, and pursuing,
We look for glitter,
A girlish titter.
A woman both brave and smart,
Oh my imagination does she start!

With hawkish gaze and hungry eye,
We gawk at others, by and by,
Her smile, her laugh,
perhaps one day my better half.
For her my heart does beat,
for the chance for us to meet.

To take her hand, to brush her cheek,
to show firsthand, her love I seek.
To my great fear, my gaze portrays,
my hopes and dreams of future days.
Courage musters from the soul within,
To tell my love, her hand I'll win.

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Glacian, in the year 811 AF.
