no other way

Worrying for thoughts beside
Concentrate, I cannot abide

My focus worn by emotions thin
Numb against this eternal din

I try to live, I don't ask why
I try to live, barely survive
I try to live, and everyday
Nothing ever goes away

Fogged up thoughts with another migraine
Throat is dry, stomach is pain

Joints won't move, sore from this sadness
Nothing makes sense, it's all just madness

They call it courage
They call me brave
It's ignorance
There's no other way

I try to live, I don't ask why
I try to live, barely survive
I try to live, and everyday
Nothing ever goes away

It doesn't matter what i want
Because there is nothing in my heart
Just the ashes of depression
Washed clean of my digressions

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Mayan, in the year 807 AF.
