Slow pains
They fade
They come
Unexplained

Deep mood
Reflect days
Seasons pass
Depression stays

The world would pass us by
And tell us to chase it
We're lazy, not allowed to cry
One chance, don't waste it

Burn up
Fade away
Feel broken
Don't break

Bleak sight
Out of mind
Ignore it
Left behind

And the world will move on
And remind us we must wait
Patience is a virtue
No matter what our state

Remind us not to hate
Remind us to feel glad
Remind us to drop anger
Remember, shun the sad

We're worth what they decide
As long as we obey
Anything we want
Is second to their say

We really want to listen
To do what we are told
Before we get too old

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Glacian, in the year 807 AF.
