End of Innocence

Written by: Burnished Sentry Ielana Lighthawk
Date: Tuesday, November 6th, 2018
Addressed to: Everyone

We grew up laughing and carefree
We did not care about tomorrow
But all things end

We sailed west to the sunset
We drank and grinned
But all things end

Our parents were close and cared
Our eyes did not see the storm clouds
But all things end

Our lives were torn apart by memories
Our hearts were broken by bitter anger
But all things end

We saw years pass and you slept
We saw memories rise
But all things end

Our paths twine and we forgave
We have our fate and he will fall
Our innocence ended

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Scarlatan, in the year 785 AF.
