For Every Flame

For every flame starts with a spark,
A light that grows within the dark.
For every lark that sings so clear,
The truth of growth comes ever near.

The morning comes, the sun is warm
There beckons new life, after every storm.
A budding spring, after a chilling snow,
And still everything, continues to grow.

In silence as the world is yearning,
New growth keeps the candle burning.
In silence as we study, learning
New growth keeps the world turning.

Beneath the oceans, deep and blue,
A fish gives birth to something new.
Above the clouds, wild and true,
A bird gives birth to something new.

Left unsaid, left undone
Growth answers to none.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Chronos, in the year 779 AF.
