Lost Sparrow, Faithful Rook

Written by: Arbiter Martien Nyxillum-Borell, Librarian of the Court
Date: Thursday, August 16th, 2018
Addressed to: Everyone

The sparrow flew the nest
the rook had shook from rest

Well-weary o'being bereft
He could not this time blest

Coal wings never free,
so other birds can be

Always there to clean the mess
Black bird never will egress

A life given alone to Progress
Efforts nevertheless, manifest.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Glacian, in the year 778 AF.
