Within the boughs a heart does beat
entwined between the verdant leaves

A love above all our devotions
A need surpassing all emotion

Our home, protected, with our strength
allegiance proved through any length

Like the roots, we do delve deep
Seeking knowledge without sleep

As the branches grow ever higher
nothing squelches our inner fire

We, those who are one with the wood
do not need to be understood
