Elementary Bureaucracy

In the days following Jeramun's return to slumber, a strange hush fell upon Sapience. The collective adventurers who had fought, bled and died over the course of month upon month of vicious conflict were able to at last take a breath. The conduits slept or were otherwise sealed, leaving Achaeans free to once more look to the future.

That future arrived perhaps sooner than anybody might have anticipated, as the word went out from Bantaishe, chief architect of the embassy's restructuring. In but a short time the work of she and her crew would be completed, and the embassy would reopen its doors. It did not take long for Sapience to gather outside the closed doors, eagerly awaiting that which would come next.

Their patience, such as it was, soon saw reward, as the architect stepped from within the embassy to greet what must have seemed like a majority of Sapience's draconic population. Unfazed, Bantaishe performed a single resounding knock on the great doors as they swung open to permit entry. Swarming inside, the varied adventurers of all cities, codes, and creeds were greeted by the ambassadors of the Elements, once more willing to deal with travellers from the Prime Material and even, with the appropriate oaths, permit them access to the Elemental Planes and a role in their great war.

With a sigh of distaste for the unending clamour and childlike complaints rising from the gathered crowd, Chellen, the chosen administrator of the Emissaries, set to work funnelling them into the appropriate registrations, interviews, and admissions.

Summary: While Achaeans set the Elemental conduits to slumbering once more, the tash'la architects completed their work on rebuilding the destroyed embassy of the Elements. Signalling that the task had been finished, the embassy doors were opened once more, allowing adventurers of the Prime Material Plane to enter and, if they so chose, align themselves with Earth, Fire, Water, or Air, soldiers of the Elements in their multi-planar war.

Penned by My hand on the 21st of Valnuary, in the year 759 AF.
