Hey everyone,

So as most of you are no doubt aware we just had an outage lasting around an hour or so. Initially we had this down as a hardware issue due to all evidence pointing to that, but it turns out this was in fact a malicious denial of service attack. Our provider took mitigating action as a standard precaution when this was detected to minimise disruption to other customers.

We're discussing mitigation strategies at the moment and have a few ideas, but its possible we may suffer further disruption depending on the various attack methods the aggressive party decides to employ. We'll do all we can to minimise interruption to your playing experience.
