A Request from the Motley Crew

Songsmiths and performers of Sapience!

After a year of dry performances and educational lectures, on behalf of the Motley Crew I am here to announce a departure from tradition for those with a little Bard inside them!

Adhere not to the schedule; pay time and custom no heed. There will be no formal gathering or organised attendance from us, oh no!

Instead, we call upon the musically inclined folk of Sapience to look ahead to the coming month. Seize with both hands the opportunity for song and story that the Contest of Names provides. Revel in the adrenaline rush of victory and wallow in the misery of defeat.

As the Bard commands the full spectrum of emotional ups and downs in their art and so too must you.

Thus! You have a month to write at least one perfect verse on the themes of battle, bloodshed, struggle, and captivity.

Send these to myself or Ellisanne and we shall immortalise the winning submissions into a musical ensemble for the ages, and perform it for all to bear witness! The messenger in Delos should find us with ease.

Collaboration is advised; tedium is not!

We await your compositions.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Scarlatan, in the year 840 AF.
