A Case Study of Zealotry

Greetings,

How convenient it must be to address us, but not listen. Thus is the infectious disease of zealotry. It seems a matter of wether you'd prefer to be the cut that allows Zealotry to seep its way in, or the barrier to prevent it. Judging by your actions it appears you'd be the former.

The delicious irony here is that Ashtan has fallen apart due to the very last line of your post. The inability to listen to dissenting ideals. If you believe them to be wrong, refute them with truth, not slogans. It wasnt until I had finally left that place that I learned how truly chained it's citizenry was.

Zealotry only serves to blind and control, and here I thought there was some sort of key proclaiming you must "unloose." Although as of now Ashtan has clung to only parts of the key namely, they will have "renounced all their meaning" if they continue down their path. It seems time will tell. I for one will seek Progress as I did when I left. All forms of progress are had by moving beyond your comforts, and unchaining yourself from the bonds of zealotry.

You've been warned.
