The Dog's Day

When people ask what ever happened to Lord Lupus, there are a few typical responses you might get.

An optimist will tell you that He is resting and regaining His strength for His return.

A pessimist may count Him among those who fell to Bal'met.

A realist will take you to the sanctum and show you where He sleeps.

But the true Lupine are the ones that know the real answer.

Lord Lupus exists in every single one of us. He is in the thrill you get from taking down your prey. He is in the sweat that specks your brow from the rigors of the hunt. He is in the tears that you weep for your fallen brethren. Within every aspect of growth and brotherhood, the Wild God lives.

In my life, it has been my honor to serve the Lord of the Hunt in my actions and to gather lone wolves to form his pack anew. But at last, I cannot take it any further. I've planted the seed, and it's time for me to return to the earth and allow others to nurture it.

To my predecessor, Illuthias. Honor the hunt above all else, and you will not falter. I have no doubt that you are the right choice to take my place: You who have restored my faith and born me on your back more times than I can count.

-Morn, Founder and former Alpha of the Lupine Resurgence

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Mayan, in the year 807 AF.
