Prime Treasure Countdown in 852 AF

As a relative novice with not much to do,
I've been looking forward to Eight Fifty-Two.
When Sarapin came, as it always must do,
I cinched up my pack, my rapier and lute,
Gathered my maps and a shovel to boot.
Down Fair Seas Lane, I eagerly flew
Over the cobbles and sands of Muurn too.
I passed through the cavern and took in the view
Of the Sefyric Ocean, so brilliantly blue.
I wanted some treasure. And heck, wouldn't you?
As a relative novice with not much to do?

The treasure hunt started. Ready to go.
It was good to be out of the permanent snow.
The mountains behind me (though I do love them so)
I turned my young thoughts to the promise of gold.
As a relative novice, I'm not very old.
There're so many things that I simply don't know.
But I wanted some loot; I was ready to go.

I reached Ka'daloki and started to dig.
I hoped for an artefact or something else big.
Can They fit a Seastrider inside a gift bag?
Or a Shield of Absorption, or some other schwag?
On my very first try, as I started to dig,

An exuberant bag filled with gold and some ink
Popped out of the hole with a satisfied clink.
So, I just kept on digging. What did you think?

Now my rift's full of ink and some irid moss too.
What a good start to year Eight Fifty-Two,

For a relative novice with not much to do.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Sarapin, in the year 852 AF.
