Those Thievin' Doves

Those Thievin' Doves
--

What do those doves in Delos do?
They take our letters without ado.

Journals, they take without care.
Monies, they steal from us unaware.

Those thievin' doves laugh at us some.
Holding our letters for ransom.

Never to see those letters again.
Our loss is their gain.

Research work gone into the wind.
These birds will leave us behind.

With our treasures in their thievin' talons.
Must we accept and move on?

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Daedalan, in the year 826 AF.
