The Passing Grey

Light displayed in contrast
With nimbuses of shading mist
Overcast heavens roiling
Days of thunder and tempest

Facing the stinging winds
Though a stormcloud looms
I watch and whisper my songs
When silver linings bloom

That sunbeam smiling upon me
With naught but a single ray
Casting a warmth dispersing
The drifting, passing grey

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Miraman, in the year 822 AF.
