Talk to no one and make no friends,
for people are a distraction from your work.

Cut yourself off socially from everyone else.
Society brings societal pressure, which distracts you from your work.

Have no hobbies outside of your art,
or you may find you would much rather be doing that instead.

Only make bad decisions that hurt you.
Pain is the greatest inspiration

Make no attempt to grow emotionally or mentally,
or you will find yourself with less problems to write about.

Never let your wounds heal, be they physical or mental,
for the healing is the death of art
