I believe I found the bugs in the messaging system, and exterminated them. So, those of you that had messages before but couldn't see them should be able to see them now.

Further, as is detailed in HELP MESSAGING, you can now do, for instance:
MESSAGES 20 FULL, which will show you 20 messages, starting at message 20, and show you the entire messages rather than just the first lines.
