Primary Objective: Acquisition
Secondary Objective: Destruction
Tertiary Objective: Counterstrike
Assets Employed: Terrin'tuuran, Kaama'lier, An'maal, shi-Hashan, shi-Moghedu
Battle Command: Terrin'tuuran
Outcome: Success

Comments:

Enforcement of prior agreements with shi-Moghedu required committing Tsol'teth strength to maintaining the accord. We do not break our bargains. A raid on the fortress designated shi-Mhaldor was engaged, our purpose one of acquisition for previously unavailable guardian specimens.

The forces of shi-Hashan, joined in communication subarrays by the Sword of Hate and Dark Weapon, engaged in diversionary assaults upon the fortress gates. The Blood Mountain accompanied forces of shi-Moghedu through fresh tunnels in preparation for emergence at the required position. Deployment of Second of Sixth was deemed unnecessary owing to shi-Mhaldor lacking strategic awareness to counter the Blood Mountain.

Emergence of the Blood Mountain was met by the forces of shi-Hashan, and shi-Baelgrim quickly claimed for the almighty Tsol'teth. Limited friction rendered direct cooperation between shi-Hashan and shi-Moghedu untenable, necessitating relocation of the latter to a centralised gathering point. Our Tide surged, its passage unstoppable and causing death within the ranks of shi-Mhaldor forces, additionally to unforeseen death in the ranks of shi-Moghedu.

With resistance limited, the Blood Mountain was redeployed to shi-Ashtan and shi-Hashan committed to establishment of shrine presence for forced font operation. Construction proceeded apace, with predicted interference by native shi-Mhaldor specimens maintaining shrine presences elsewhere in the locale.

An assault upon shi-Cyrene by nahu-s-hailqad-Cyrene was noted and reported within the Meld. Nahu-s-hailqad-Cyrene's unexpected rescue of shi-Mhaldor and engagement in diversionary action were recorded by Second of Sixth. Rising instability in Hailqas'an was noted and assessed as potentially lingering effects of prior exposure to anathematic energy and/or native Tezlari-tarin specimens. Suggestion of summoning apparatus termination made and approved in judgement by the Sword of Hate.

Following the Blood Mountain's use of Destruction, the summoning apparatus was rendered nonfunctional. Reclassification of shi-Mhaldor to formerly noted status proceeded.

Primary objective of acquisition deemed attainable but outside available time parameters given attacks on shi-Cyrene and the Weapon of Lethality, rejected as inefficient owing to lack of useful specimens within shi-Mhaldor. Secondary objective achieved. Tertiary objective achieved within acceptable limitations. The operation is presently classified as a success, pending judgement by Balan'lier on the nature of the shi-Moghedu agreement.

Redeployment to Balan'ukia was dictated following reclassification of shi-Mhaldor to prior status and rapidly growing instabilities within the Weapon of Lethality, subsequently terminated via Gattan'lier's strike.

Nahu-s-hailqad-Cyrene is reclassified to shi-Cyrene.

The Staff remains in the possession of the Genesis. Progress assessments will be made by Balan'maal on improvements in line growth.

Summary: The Tsol'teth forces, joined by citizens of Hashan, raided the city of Mhaldor. Their goal was first to summon and process the daemon Mhaldorus, second to destroy the city font, and third to assist the Mhun in their long-sought vengeance. While the citizens battled the Hashani onslaught, Terrin'tuuran brought Moghedu's scouts through tunnels beneath Baelgrim Fortress. Using previously unknown Terminus the Tsol'teth extinguished the fissure before withdrawing to deal with the Cyrenian threat, assessing the Vashnarian victory from Balan'ukia.

Penned by My hand on the 10th of Scarlatan, in the year 800 AF.
