To: Chief Lirthak.
From: Captain Vorluck.

Chief, as you have requested, attached is a report of the disruption enacted during Sarapin of 710 AF.

After investigation, the disturbances of the Burrow can be laid at the feet of the Mingruk, much as we suspected. A terrorist cell amongst the lower caste concocted and enacted a plot to undermine the stability of our society and the physical security of our home.

The Mingruk subversives engaged outside help from the tree village of Eleusis, the shaded city of Hashan, and the detestable skywalker shaman of Genji. With such assistance they collapsed the access tunnels and shaped a great hickory tree above in the hills, its roots now block ease of passage between the burrow strata and continue to cause confusion of communication and supply.

Despite our best efforts, we still struggle to understand the mechanism of transport that allows the radicals to test our forces. Work will continue as the engineers strive to safeguard our families and livelihood.

Summary: The Mingruk of Manara successfully mounted an attack on the infrastructure of the Gnoll. A great hickory tree now shades the entrance to the Burrow, and its roots offer passage between the levels through the collapsed Gnoll tunnels.

Penned by My hand on the 25th of Daedalan, in the year 710 AF.
